Please help to keep this festival green – OFFER A CARPOOL HERE >> (a great excuse to connect with lovely people and share the fuel costs)
Guys, we have updated GPS coordinates. please get yourselves to the main entrance of Slane Castle & then just follow the road signs we left for yous.
(Road name R163)
This is the marker for the turn off (opposite Slane Castle entrance):
This is the Organic farm itself, where the event is happening:
Dublin-Slane bus – collins coaches from Lwr Abbey st (or Mount Joy Sq – depending on 1916 Celebration in town) Bus to Slane from Dublin Timetable here >> | Bus to Slane from Navan or Drogheda Timetable >> (ask the driver to get out right outside Slane castle and the hitch / walk up the road 20min) – leap cards / passes accepted on both bus services)
You can get train to Drogheda & then bus from Drogheda to Navan direction. If coming form outside of Ireland, get hourly bus number 109A direct from the airport (approx 50 min to Navan) or 109 from Dublin City Centre (central station BusAras) to Navan (approx 1hr). Sometimes the 109A route is known to arrive late. In Navan ask the driver to let you off on ‘Mercy Convent Navan’ stop, and tell him/her to show you where to get the 190 bus to Slane (Navan-Drogheda direction). It is 10-15minute super-slow walk to the Market Square Navan bus stop.
Since most of the time people make friends at the festival and get lifts back, if you buy return ticket, it might be wasted – so stay open to the magic 🙂 Either way the fastest way out of here is to get a lift to Slane and hop on the bus Slane – Dublin. Or get a lift to Navan and hop on the Navan-Dublin bus.
Bus will drop you outside of Slane Castle main gate. Across from it is a road to the farm – 3 miles up (keep left, follow the signage) & on the left you will see arrow.
